Best PS1 game that should be remade

Xenogears, I'd want them to keep the general style of the original, redraw the sprites, get better voice actors ,add frames but most of all I'd want them to finish the second dang disc.

Heck, I'd even be happy if they didn't upgrade the graphics or sounds (bart's yell was hilarious!) so long as they redid the second disk properly!

FFIX was a close runner up, my favorite FF by far.

Legend of Dragoon was always amazing to play as well.

I would absolutely love to see all 3 remade.

I love the game, it's REAL 'guilty pleasure'.
But, I think if given the Silent Hill: Shattered Memories treatment, it could be a REALLY great game.

Chrono Cross would be good, yet again keeping with the style, but TOTALLY revamp the characters, to be a small tightly knit cast that all actually have a stake in the world shattering events instead of getting....Macha....in your team.

Wow yeah I completely forgot about Xenogears! Bring that back please!

Resident evil (series, if just one then nemesis) and FFX.

I love both games very muchly. The nemesis is such a cool guy and had such a great post game game, mercenary mode was awesome.

FFX is still one of my fav games, granted it has major flaws and mega annoyances, "dodge 200 lightening bolts" ... "urgh!" and status effects are pretty much useless.

Not technically ps1, but I'd love to see a fully 3D version of pokemon red/blue and gold/silver, with just the first 250 pokemon and the ability to actually catch them all, red/blue and gold/silver were the only two games that were directly linked together story wise, so it would be great to see a fully 3D version

im going to throw in a completely unknown game, and say Overblood 2. the voice acting and controls were shocking, and the gameplay was a bit naff, but by god, tyhe story to it was fucking immense, and it deserves a remake for that.

Personally, I'd love to see Dragon Seed remade as a PSP/DS game, since the gameplay seems to fit that style.
