What demo on 360 have you been enjoying most? I've clocked up three hours all together playing DiRT 2 online with my mate, and about an hour on Lost Planet 2...though im not very good at it. Damn giant salamander frog mutant...
Thirded. Although I enjoyed the Lost Planet 2 demo as well... only on co-op though.Armored Prayer said:Same here. Best demo to date.TheTygerfire said:Arkham Asylum, easy.
Fourthed. I've played it so many times I could probably do it blindfolded.FinalHeart95 said:Thirded. Although I enjoyed the Lost Planet 2 demo as well... only on co-op though.Armored Prayer said:Same here. Best demo to date.TheTygerfire said:Arkham Asylum, easy.
I still haven't got round to getting that yet. I don't think my connection can handle under 2 GB at once! It used to cut out after 1GB. (Alas I will never know how bad Wanted really is...)Armored Prayer said:Same here. Best demo to date.TheTygerfire said:Arkham Asylum, easy.
I downloaded that because it looked unique, but forgot about it as soon as tried DiRT 2 out online. I'm going to go play that later now! Thanks!DemonI81 said:That being said, I don't think I've played a really enjoyable demo in a long time. I did enjoy the Mini Ninjas demo, as "kiddie" as it was, it was fun, fluid, looked good, and had some nice features.
By the way, me and my friend call the Lost Planet thing "Stubby", because it has little stubs for legs when you blow them off.StigmataDiaboli said:What demo on 360 have you been enjoying most? Or Demon Toad from Hell.
No problem. Don't expect Ninja Gaiden, but it was fun.StigmataDiaboli said:I downloaded that because it looked unique, but forgot about it as soon as tried DiRT 2 out online. It's a stealth game. It's not supposed to be fast paced. And you can run in the demo, you don't have to walk everywhere. I take it you never played Splinter Cell?DemonI81 said:I thought Arkham sucked. It looked good, but was slow, sluggish, mechanically not there enough for me to even rent the game. The constant slow motion and feeling that Batman was actually a suit full of bricks rather than a human killed what could have been an amazing game. Canceled my preorder the day I played the demo.
I'm not talking about the pace, I know you can run. I'm talking about the actual fighting. I'm sorry, but when you're surrounded by 6 guys, stealth goes out the door and you need a fluid fighting system/mechanics, rather than the feeling that you're a washing machine with bricks for arms and legs.Doc Theta Sigma said:It's a stealth game. I thought the combat was brilliant. Batman actually felt like a human. By bag of bricks you mean actually lifelike and not some doll of some action game. The kicks were in slow-mo so you could see all around you, the other enemies so you could see if they were gonna attack and what not and counter. Thats what fluid fighting is about. Its fantastically done combat for what is going to be a stealth game. I have no idea how you found it so bad.DemonI81 said:I'm not talking about the pace, I know you can run. Each punch, each kick felt so labored and the fact that the game had to go into slo-mo for every other hit just increased this sluggish feeling.
Sixthed, great game. For all reasons listed.KingTeabag said:Fifthed, as i said above, it's so badass!Doc Theta Sigma said:Fourthed.
