Best Series of games.

IMO, Metroid. With the exception of That Metroid Game Not To Be Mentioned For Fear Of Starting Another Flame War. Oh, and that one for the DS.

The problem is that even without mentioning it, we still know what it is and still rage.

Honestly, I've only ever played one Metroid game: Metroid Prime. I figure thats a good place to stop, it was pretty fun. (Especially since I don't have the platforms to play the other games & its always a hastle to get an emulator + ROM)

Best series as a whole, I'd have to say either Baldur's Gate, as the second game is the best RPG (and possibly game) of all time, and the first is almost as good, or The Legend of Zelda. I can't make up my mind.

I quite enjoy the Fable games for the customizability you have at your finger tips. However, I was quite disappointed with Fable III. I thought it was rushed and limited, and quite unoriginal. The Road to Rule was stupid, as well as game breaking by the fact that you coud ignore a power up and just get the next one after the next gate opened.

To be completely fair to Fable 3, if you skipped a powerup and bought the next one, you'd still pay the same amount of experience/credits/whatever-the-hell-those-things-were. It just summed the two into the same price.

Zelda, because it's had the most consistently good games for the longest period of time.
