I liked Blow Me Away as well, before it became overused and synonymous with Halo. I also like Ain't No Rest For the Wicked by Cage the Elephant in Borderlands (I'm not sure if it's a single or from an album though).

It's not an exclusive single for Borderlands, but it's still an awesome song. Especially how Gearbox cut it to fit the intro. Sets the mood perfectly.

The Persona 3 ending theme.

And Of course, Griggs's song from Call Of Duty 4

Also, the story behind the song: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1584526/call-duty-4-endcredits-song-story-behind-rap-gamefile.jhtml

There are others like both Still Alives (Portal and Mirror's Edge) and I do love basically all of Alan Wake's soundtrack but Ain't No Rest For The Wicked is just brilliant

Honourable mentions also go to the Fallout soundtracks as well...and Black Ops from Sympathy For The Devil by Rolling Stones to Fortunate Son by CCR to Won't Back Down by Eminem and Pink...plus all the zombie songs

Okay, game music is a lot better than I used to give it credit for :p

Also, Sonic gmaes throughout the years have had some pretty damn good music as well

Being the music geek that I am, I loved that Mass Effect 2 parodied Gilbert & Sullivan's "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General" in Modrin's song about being a scientist Salarian. :D
