I last thread about this sort of thing had its last post on December 15th, so I'm pretty sure it's okay to bring it up again.

My best moment in Skyrim was after I had invaded the Thalmor party. I had emerged from the caverns that led to the main world along with the prisoner I'd freed. I decided to follow him for a bit. The weather was pretty brutal, with a harsh, windy blizzard obscuring my vision. After following the prisoner (wherever he was going) for about a minute, I stumbled upon a large statue of a woman holding her hands to the sky. Then the blizzard stopped, the skies became clear, and the cold colors of the northern lights began shining in the sky. Then the statue, who happened to the the Goddess Meridia, spoke to me.

It was pretty much the most transcendent moment in a game I've had yet.

Most of the good moments in Skyrim were reinforced by my own imagination and the way I'd planned my characters.

My first character was a Nord, axe and shield in heavy armour. I decided that he was a man of ambition, he fought not for money or glory but for the thrill of battle. His search was for a strong opponent and if a few jobs should lead him to some coin along the way then happy days.
The first venture into Bleakfalls Barrow uncovered the Draugr, capable warriors but not enough to challenge him. From bandits to draugr to mercenaries, no-one seemed to be able to give him a challenge.

That was until he found a book that lead him to Faolan, the Red Eagle. A once powerful king of the Reach. Intrigued he pursued the legend and discovered Faolan's tomb. He entered and the undead king rose to his challenge, a bloody battle between the two. Though my Nord came out on top, he had met a man that tested his skill unlike any other. He carried the king back to his resting place and left the tomb, removing the sword that acted as the tomb's key as he left.

To make sure no man would plunder the tomb and disturb the Red Eagle he had a mage destroy the key, but kept Faolan's sword on his hip.

Defiantly any time I killed a dragon priest, even if it did mean that my imperial warrior was suddenly dual wielding staffs, spamming like hell and taking cover every thirty seconds to burn through more soul gems.
