Best theme Music EVER!!

OK Escapists, I just read an article about a possible movie reboot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and while I may not be certain that is a good idea it got me thinking about the series. The music in the beginning of the show was awesome and Angel had, what was for me, some of the best TV theme music ever. So here it is.

What theme music, movie or TV, is your personal favorite, or at least one you really like?

As a second question, when watching the beginning credits of your favorite show on DVD did you ever find yourself skipping the opening credits? (Most shows pretty much always but with Angel never)

Well if it has to be music, movie or TV then I guess the 28 Days Later theme takes the cake.
If it can be games, Zeno Clash's by far.

I don't watch tv so much, but as for a video game example, I've always loved this: It seems to capture perfectly the essence of the game.

There are a couple of out now films with good themes, but I haven't heard anything really memorable in recent times.

Yes, it's simplistic and short. But it never fails to get stuck in my head whenever I think about it.

Edit: Excuse me while I slam my head into my desk because I completely neglected to mention Doctor Who as the greatest theme ever.

To answer your first question: the opening to any and every James Bond movie. Such a catchy classic!

As for your second: Nope. Which is odd, considering I can be a pretty restless person. Guess it really depends on how the opening credits are carried out.

Some shows did a good job of making sure you never skipped the intro; I am thinking of the new Battlestar Galactica specifically. Great music, changing it up all the time , and just plain fun. Hard to beat. I love X-Files and the theme was really catchy, but even with that show which I adore I found myself skipping the beginning after a couple episodes.

I may hate the show passionately now, but when I was trying to like it, I found that Bleach's first season has an awesome intro.
