Best Trailer?

Seriously though, it is a decent question! I mean trailers are pretty much what hype you up and give you just enough, or in the case of some, too much anticipation.

My personal favourite is the 300 trailer, I'm on the fence of which one of the two I like the more, the one with that awesome "Then we will fight in the shade" quote or that one... even toss. I suppose the swing vote there was the Halo 300 trailer, which was brilliant. A series of clips from various Halo 2/3 and Halo Wars preview vids with the audio from that linked trailer there in the background.

You can still watch it if you mute the volume on the Halo 300 vid and then start the other trailer I linked, waiting until the music starts to start playing the Halo 300 vid, still awesome just convoluted.

Gotta agree with you about the Watchmen Trailer, both of them are pretty brilliant and both of them made by the same dude who made the 300 trailer... the director of said film... Zach Snyder. Still prefer the 300 one.

Its the music that gets me, Smashing Pumpkins for the first one, the track is The Beginning is the End is the Beginning from the Batman & Robin OST(I know terrible film, good song!), the second one being Prophecies from the Koyaanisqatsi OST by Philip Glass followed by Muse, track being Take a Bow.

He actually used to direct music videos so he knows how to cue actions with music properly, bloody awesome trailers. I mean seriously, if he made a film that was basically just an hour and a half worth of AMV's he created... I'd watch it.

I mean all they needed was that shot at the very end with the dude in the power suit and the narrator. That would have been awesome.

Whoever came up with the RE Apocalypse teaser trailor was a genius. I would love to see this aired once in awhile for kicks.

I wasn't a massive fan of the game when I eventually played it but the 'Mad World' trailer for Gears of War made them game looking fucking badass.
