Best TV show intro?

I love the intro to true blood and was wondering what all you escapists think is the best TV show intro you've seen.

It's so easy to say The simpsons here, cause the intro is never really the same..

I watched the first episode of season 2 of True Blood just the other day (thinking I hadn't seen season 2, which I suddenly realized I had) and was reminded just how much I love the intro. Honestly, there are a few too many times I enjoy the intro more than the actual episode.

Sabotage was the best thing on TV. Such a shame it didn't last.

Okay. Real answer. Buffy. It was short and to the point, which is handy when you're doing a marathon and your player doesn't care much for fast forwarding. Not to mention it rocks your face clean off.

If we are not counting anime stuff I would have to say on the funny-side spaced [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2g13-KYAlcU]. From documentary like series, Band of Brothers. From anime Cowboy Bebop. Hard to specify best from all genres. Really hard. So I just give you the best from some genres

It may not be the best or the most iconic but my all time favourite is the critic intro. It's pretty much a love letter to New York.
