hello fellow escapists, what do you guys think is the the best underrated video game sidekick? The sidekick characters that you know and love, but for some reason, not that many people really acknowledge them.
what are your favorites?
mines issun, from Okami. Hes a cocky,annoying,inappropriate, and only an inch long. Hes a really fun character mainly because amaeterasu, the main character, doesnt really have any character. she doesnt say anything, mainly because shes a goddamn wolf/sun goddess( but then again it does seem a little odd that she cant talk, because the other animal zodiac brush gods&goddesses can speak, and it doesnt make much sense, seeing as shes the strongest one of them all, why she cant talk). But then here comes Issun to save the day. he provides commentary on the events that happen, and actually is able to communicate with people. hes really funny, and brightens up, even the darkest parts of the game.
