Best version of Chrono Trigger

At the risk of losing my Classic Gamer license, I'm going to admit that I've never played Chrono Trigger. So I need advice from those who have: should I download the original off the Virtual Console, or get the DS version?

Edit: The PS version is worth playing for bonus videos etc.

I recommend the DS version, for the portability. Though I might be swayed if the Virtual Console version is cheaper than the DS version.

NO! The load times are absolutely HORRENDOUS on it!

If you want the bonus videos, you might as well go with the DS version. Or just watch it on the Youtubes, but NEVER play the PS1 versions or you'll go insane with the 5 minute (slight hyperbole) load for the screen.
