Deus Ex had a great soundtrack, as did Mass Effect 2. "Of Zanarkard" from Final Fantasy X is great. And you can't go wrong with the Metal Gear Solid Theme.

Having to personalize a compilation to the request of simple, relaxing and upbeat music, I would have to recommend:

Any of the forest/ice mountain/ocean variations of this song, as well as this one. The game has lively music.

Into rock? If you weren't before, now you are.
Floating on Cloud Nine with friends, watching the world pass like a calm breeze.. that's how I'd describe these.
