Hmm... Cthulhu or Silent Hill, thats a tough one.

One who will warp your sanity and leave you a empty shell. Or a town that will manifest all the horror and terror within an individuals soul... I will have to take an undecided on this one, and instead pick... Silent Hill when manifesting the visions of one of Cthulhu's victims...

The Elder Gods are not Villains. To be a villain requires an antagonistic relationship, the Elder Gods however simply do not care. We are beneath their notice, little more than ants beneath their feet. And as such they care absolutely nothing for the trivial existence of humanity.

For best villain, I'd go with:

Fung Sheng Wu Chi. Master of the Flying Guillotine! He's an old, blind, Neo-Nazi, kung fu master out to kill every one-armed man he comes across!

His weapon is the Flying Guillotine! It's a hat covered in blades attached to a chain! You throw it over someone's head, and rip their head off! It's a totally logical weapon!

Also he has grenades!

Nonsense. I cite Luther from SO3.

OT: Best villain? Dark side Revan, KotOR.

I too like sephiroth, but he wasn't on the side of the planet, if he had been he wouldn't have summoned a giant space rock to punch it in it's f**cking face.

Giant Robot Hitler.

Hey, you can't beat Wolfenstein for originality with that one. And bad taste.

Besides, can you really beat him for evilness? I mean, come on, he's Hitler 2.0. Literally.

Not that I like villains... I just think you may as well go overboard and get a large ham like this one with any fiction.

Anubis, or the Ori
Anubis "You will no doubt resist. You will no doubt fail"
Ori "And those who are prideful and refuse to bow down shall be laid low and made unto dust"
Shown is the Docii, the most powerful of the Ori worshipers.

Joker, Joker, Joker, Joker. Easily one of the best villains in any media I have ever seen.

True with the Elder Gods, but some of the Great Old One's are truly Villainous and one can hardly fault someone for confusion between the Elder Gods and the Great Old Ones (hence my assumption that Sonicron was referencing Cthulhu.)
