Best/Worst ripoff game

I know 'ripoff' has a negative connotation but by tht I mean games like Quantum theory and Castlevania LOS (yes its a ripoff on GOW and SOTC), that immediately remind you of other sucessful franchises/series.

I think the best ripoff game is Saints Row and the worst is Quantum theory.

I think we can agree Saints Row 2 is absolutly epic.

hmmm define rip off.most game ideas are taken from somewhere eg halo-starship troopers.dead rising-night of the living dead. morrowind/oblivion-lord of the rings. Max Payne-film noir.I could continue

A second agreement here, Saints Row 2 is amazing.

Worst... I dunno if it's the worst, but I didn't care for Darksiders at all.

I admit the game was lacking, but I'd prefer we get over the fact that Dante's Inferno is just a Christian God of War..I mean just by looking at the game how else do you expect to play it?

Yeah. I was about to state COSD as the best ripoff but I wasn't sure which came fisrt. Its kinda ironic that MOH is now considered a COD ripoff.

I admit the game was lacking, but I'd prefer we get over the fact that Dante's Inferno is just a Christian God of War..I mean just by looking at the game how else do you expect to play it?

God of war is 5 years old now. If your going to ripoff something to the level Dante's inferno did you can at least do it as well. Dante's inferno failed at doing this.

Besides God of war already had a lot of levels in what was essentially hell, there's no need for Dante's inferno to exist.

Even though I also said Saints Row, I stll think San Andreas is better than any Saints Row game. Period.

Well yeah There is no reason for it to exist. I think EA was just trying their best to be classy....OH Look at us we're making a game out of a 13th century Novel.. OH so classy...-_-

They failed I admit, but well the game mechanics seemed to fit for me, it was just well that the Game was bad. sometimes it's just best to let a game fail on it's own merit. After all this is EA we're talking about, we always expect the worst from them when they're not making a Sports game
