This pleases me.

OT: What sort of genre were you looking for? What are your interests?

...because I was going to suggest Splosion Man and its sequel, Ms. Splosion Man.

I've heard good things about Vandal Hearts: Judgment. Faery is an okay RPG.

For more general games: Deadliest Warrior is a meh fighting game, but the closest we have to a new Bushido Blade. Same for the sequel. Grab for $5 or less if you can.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is really good. Fantastic beat em up, with some RPG elements.

captcha: you're not listening. Yes I am.

I read up on Deathspank and that type of game would be interesting , but yeah I'm mostly looking for RPG's and A- RPG's

Scott Pilgrim is awesome , I have it already

Hmm... I'm not sure there are all that many action RPGs on XBL. There is, of course, Torchlight. That's a great buy.

Other than that you've got Castle Crashers. It's not really an RPG, but it's a great beat 'em up like Scott Pilgrim with some RPG lite elements. There's also Bastion.

Trials HD is a 2d side-scrolling bike racing game...excellent physics and probably the best arcade game there is. The sequel isn't quite as good but has shining graphics and an improved level editor.

Geometry wars evolved 2 is a space invaders-ish game where you use 1 stick to move and the other to shoot...very hard to master but good fun trying to beat high scores.

Orcs must die is a quality tower defence style game...another leaderboard hunting game. Lots of options, lots of potential.

From dust is a god style simulator with some very interesting levels and ideas. Pretty tough but rewarding.

The dishwasher: vampire smile is a 2d platform fighting game with interesting weapons and variations. Another game that is hard to master but fun

Peggle is an amazingly addictive puzzle game. Simple(ish) but really challenging. Lots of replay value.

Doritos crash course is a side scrolling platform game and it's quite reasonable...but it's free so get it downloaded and try it!

There we are, these games have kept me busy for a long time. Not really that good for 12 hour sessions but if you want pick up and play then these are among my favourites.

yes I have Castle Crashers and Bastion, both great games , and how good is Torchlight?
Depends if you like item based RPGs...it's like Diablo for the pc although it gets boring a lot quicker. It kinda lacks depth...i dunno...i can't put my finger on it but when i got to the end i was glad it was over.

Maybe vandal hearts: flames of judgement then. Turn based RPG set on a grid of squares. Reasonable game but less options than the original on the ps1.

Dark delve is an indie dungeon crawler...unforgiving to say the least but i did enjoy it. Final fantasy style combat with eye of the beholder movement...odd mix but it works for me.

I'd definately recommend giving them a trial before buying them...my tastes are quite unusual to most people ;)

thanks for the suggestions , those seem like games I would like. I just want something to hold me over for a bit until I get Dishonored
