Hello. Welcome to the Midnight Question thread. It is past 1:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, and the Question of the night is as follows: Which one of your Birthdays was your favorite? Give the date and the year and what made it special*. For me, It was April 21st, 2005, my 11th birthday. Me and my parents had gotten passes to Go to Star Wars Celebration 3(The SW convention) on the date of my birthday. but we had to drive there due to the cost of the plane tickets. It was all the way in Indiana, and we lived in NY, and it took over 11 hours to get there... but it was worth it. There were ton of activities to do, We got sneak peeks at Ep.III, I Got to play Star Wars: BattleFront II in advance(Suckers), and.. well, It's somewhat hard to explain in words, but the best part was seeing George Lucas in person and talking to Matthew woods(Voice of Grievous) and Peter mayhews(Chewie.). Sadly, I didn't get a chance to talk to George, but it was still cool to see him in person. Bottomline: Best Birthday/4 days of my life so far.

So, what's your favorite birthday? *Just post what I specified above and we'll be all set. This has been COR 2000, your favorite of all CORs, signing out. For about 5 minutes. I can't really sleep now. Too much Caffeine.

No special parties or anything, then?

Fav b-day was my 18th. I didn't realize it until about a month afterwards. My mom finally got off my back and let me be an adult. It's been nice not having stress pack on my back daily from her yelling at me all the time.

Yeah, its not that exciting when you read it but its more about the freedom that I felt when I realized it.

I've never had a really great b-day party though.

not really, my birthdays are pretty low-key, most of the time we see what ever popular movie is out at the time, although most likely for my 21st I'll be heading up to Vegas to make a fool of myself.

my birthdays have always sucked

the only good one was when I was about 13, I rented Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and DinoCity for my SNES, had about 10 friends over, and just played Street Fighter for hours.

my last birthday, I got a mad magazine, and that's it.

edit: and I haven't even liked mad for years.

The best birthday I've had so far was when I turned 27 or 28. We started drinking at 3pm, and by 10pm I was sleeping on the front steps to my friend's flat. Later I tried to eat, but spent an hour in the bathroom throwing up instead.

I got a palm reading from one of my hippie friends, a pirated copy of a Godspeed You Black Emperor album, a logitech mouse that was worth more than my computer at the time, and copy of Sam Shepherd's Buried Child and other plays. My friends had a great time, people hooked up, and I even enjoyed the hangover the next day.

December 21, 1996, my 4th birthday, because I got Legos. I remember spending all day making the little houses and stuff on the poster that came in the little box. I also remember jumping up and down when I woke up because I was four. That probably sounds stupid, but for some reason when I think birthday these are the first images that pop into my mind.

Now that you mention it, I do remember those birthdays/Christmases. Waking up super early and being so excited that you just had to run in and wake your parents... wow... good times.

I am amazed you had vividly recall your fourth birthday. I have practically no memories whatsoever prior to the age of I dunno ten? A few come to mind at random however that is only when I have something to remind me of them.

On topic, I would have to say my 18th was pretty fun. First time in downtown Montreal, had a little bit of a party with family and maintained a alcohol tolerance which I was rather proud of at the time. It proved my theory I could control and thus prevent having a hangover even if I had managed to drink enough to be drunk. Beyond that received a fair bit of money and video games.

My 13th; games, food, general craziness, and convincing all the girls to come in white shirts (I had planned a waterbomb fight, you see).

That day was made of WIN, and I don't care who knows it.
