New Vegas had it's bugs, but I played the game the most on the PS3 and there were some fixes for them. Of course there was the crashing like how all the other Bethesda games played, but it was still somewhat playable. Well I do know certain bugs that were repeatable in the 44 times I've played the game and I wish that they'd be fixed. Although it seemed at first that the 360 was encountering more bugs than PS3 users, but that quickly changed.SkarKrow said:Sorry but I have to add this: none of the games Bethesda has released on PS3 have been actually playable, Fallout 3 I actually traded in (something I hve done only twice.) because it just would not let me get anywhere without crashes.Neronium said:The day Bethesda tests a game before release is the day that politicians stop blaming video games for causing violence. OT: Oh hey, looks like PS3 users finally get some love. Too bad that it's over a year late! Seriously Bethesda, the PS3 has been out for years and you've released multiple games on it, surely you'd know how the system works by now. Most likely too what'll happen is that once it's released it'll probably crash the games or something. Remember when The Pitt for Fallout 3 came out and how unplayable it was.
Oblivion somehow runs like arse, even though I have friends running it on abysmally weak laptops that are outperformed by a frigging Gamecube.
New Vegas I shall leave be because I have't played it.
Skyim is crashy and laggy. Though the lag isn't entirely dreadful for me even at 160 hours.
Whitebeard is so badass that I (seriously true story) tried to find a demotivational poster involving Whitebeard, but they all just boiled down to reverant awe at the magnificence of Whitebeard.Neronium said:New Vegas had it's bugs, but I played the game the most on the PS3 and there were some fixes for them. Also, we all know Whitebeard never stopped being a badass. Even his death was badass and manly tears were shed!
Indeed, this i am aware of and i fully understand why this would warrant a discount for PS3 users. But my point was merely musing about rather than just focusing on gaining a new audience on the PS3, they could reward their existing customers.Josh12345 said:All other platforms have had the DLC (bar Dragonborn on PC) since before christmas, hell, the 360 had Dawnguard since last june, and each of the DLC have been on sale at least once since release so it's only fair that the PS3 gets a week's discount so nobody waits for a Christmas discount that may not even come next year.Ruley said:No discount love for other platforms that kept Skyrim strong over the past 15 months?
I'm pretty sure Skyrim is always in the top 10-20 of steam every month?
(Also, spelling mistake in the article - sorry, i am Grammar Nazi and i just want to help keep the site looking and reading awesome ^^)
Are you serious? Dawnguard and Hearthfire have been out for ages, I picked both up super cheap in steam sales. And Dragonborn comes out in a couple days.waj9876 said:Wow, haven't thought about Skyrim in a while...
Is any of the DLC on the PC version yet? If not, then fuck Bethesda, it's been like, what? 15 months?
Seriously, do we even have Dawnguard yet?
Like I said, I haven't even thought about Skyrim in a while. Last I heard it wasn't.DalekJaas said:Are you serious? Uhhhh I know this thread has been dead for awhile but you do realize the ps3 version of the game came out the exact same day as the xbox one so ps3 users have supported beth. I'm not quite sure i get what you are sayingRuley said:Indeed, this i am aware of and i fully understand why this would warrant a discount for PS3 users. The rise in the number of people I've seen on steam replaying skyrim in advance of the new DLC (past few days) tells me how much brand loyalty they have built up, they have a chance to reward it as they evidently don't mind loosing profits on the PS3, so why not discount Dragonborn for a week on other platforms too? Or why not just 24 hours?
I fully appreciate business is business and Dragonborn will probably be discounted in a steam sale, but still, mindset is all i mean.
