I love how a lot of people immediately went "hurr durr it's just a coincidence, it's not like that guy invented murder mysteries" without taking the 30 seconds necessary to actually read the original comparison. The similarities extend to such small details, that there is literally no way for someone to make it by accident.

Plus, Pete Hines is the fucker that said the PS3 version of Skyrim is "solid 30 FPS". Yeah, his words mean little to nothing.
I looked at the comparisons (I've also played Autumn Leaves but not FO4), and I still say it is most likely a coincidence. If you pick and choose the similarities over the differences, you could quite reasonably argue that Autumn Leaves was a rip off of Old World Blues; Ancient hidden preserve of academic achievement, occupied by robots, each with colourful eccentric personalities and voices, including one which is sexually aroused by humans? It's all there if you cherry pick. Whilst Autumn Leaves may well have been inspired by Old World Blues, it could just as easily have been a coincidence.

From a mechanical perspective, it is easy to see why a developer/modder would naturally arrive at a vault full of robots as a setting: It is, technically speaking, a simple pre-fabricated interior area that can be bolted on to any over world, using predominantly pre-existing assets, and be populated by characters who need the minimum of dressing up and require no mouth syncing to dialogue.
