I'm really loving the Khajiit designs, and the Argonians look like fucking dragons this time around. Awesome.

Also, I find it hilarious how everyone looks so pissed off in this game. It's like all the citizens of Skyrim have rods shoved up their ass.

What does that say about the quality of their FEMALE faces?

EDIT: Oh .. one of the other posters stuck some up. But the detail is not as impressive as the male faces ... is it the facial/body hair that's impressive a la Zangief?

If the plot revolves around you being one of the Dovahkiin , what logic is there in making the protagonist anything but a Nord ?

It seems nonsensical to me.

I wondered the same thing with dunmer's in Morrowind but it all doesnt really matter. You're a Dovahkiin which just means born with the soul of a dragon so it doesnt necessarily mean Nord.

I saw the Argonians and I was thinking that yes, they would be my first character.
Then I see the redguard and his rippling new physique and think that maybe I should start with a full on warrior for once. Then the Khajitt purrs at me and I reconsider my normal love of crawling through tight spaces for that kill...

Now I see a wood elf and they look badass? What is going on BethSoft?! Even the orcs look better...my god if this is how they look I genuinely don't know what I'll go with, this is such a huge improvement on Oblivion it's insane...

I've always had a problem with how ugly the characters look in Elder Scrolls games, and this is no exception. The tools are better, but the artist hasn't improved his craft. Thankfully, there's an active modding community to fix these short comings.

Well hells bells! The Argonians are back and better than evar!!! My one irk is that they are not digitigrade. A nice cosmetic difference that made them even more unique. Oh well, mod tools fix that and... AHEM!!! Enhance the characters in certain ways.

Yes, like removing the mammary glands and perhaps enhancing the gular fold which is more species appropriate in reptilian based races.

Or not giving a flying doughnut about a fictional race's biology of its real life counter parts for the purpose of the rule of cool and adding more stuff to make sexy time. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
