Werebear? FUCK YEAH! If I could only pick two it'd be that and the vampire lord/vampire minions one. Pure unfiltered badass.

Short of compatibility issues with consoles, almost all of those ideas can only enhance the game. Anything to do with visuals, if can be done, should be added for free... but new content of any form should be tied into a larger DLC package.

PLEASE don't do a miscellaneous DLC like what you did in Oblivion.

That seasonal foliage seems like it should've been in the game from the start. Would've been a perfect edition.

Also, SPEARS! DO WANT!

I'd much rather have them add most of it all in as a patch, for free. Kind of like what CD Projekt Red is doing for Witcher 2.

That would be great, but CDP has proven themselves as exceptional in this industry... so I won't hold my breadth for Bethesda, as much as I love them :p

All of it... and the song... I WANT IT ALL! I'm surprised that they would openly allow the word "fuck" in a published video from the studio. Despite the game being mature, you'd think that the PR would find that risky. I think it's hillarious though. If Bethesda, or anyone else can get on those mods for the workshop, let it be so!

I want that giant mudcrab!

The second I saw that monstrosity... I knew I had to have it. That is quite possibly the most amazing creature Bethesda has ever produced. Long have I desired an enormous crab to subdue and reign over as master.

Let me have that crab, Bethesda. I must make it know service to the Mad God.

Why is none of this in the game?!

All of this improves it so much, and now I'm stuck modless on a console.
I demand a patch!

I would kill someone to make these available for PS3.

Really, I would ACTUALLY kill someone.

Kill cams for magic and ranged kills at the very least need to be added. Paralysis runes would be neat but would kinda mix schools in a way that this game seems to hate doing.

In oblivion, one of my favorite spells was one I made that was essentially what you would get if I could combine Ice Storm with paralyze. I miss "cripple fog" Q_Q

My first character in Skyrim was a breton mage that ignored illusion and conjuration except for bound sword/bow.

I really messed that character up by adding magicka each lvl and not wearing armor. Once I got to lvl 40+ pretty much any archer would one shot me and everything else not much better. even with mage armor perks and ebony flesh. Even with dragonhide 80% damage reduction it was a pain. Also killing things with magic was boring. Stun lock it with fireballs till it dies.

At the time I didn't even know you could stack enchants for no cost spells. But even if I did it would still require about 6-7 double cast incinerates to drop a damn BEAR.

I've probably started 13 new games at least, good thing its probably the most fun parts of the game just starting out and full of potential. I made mostly bretons, tried a kajiit, a bosmer, an altmer, an argonian, and an orc.

Only reason I made an altmer was that I learned that they were the tallest and therefore ran the fastest. I tried to play a mage again but I hated my jaundiced yellow skin and how absolutely tedious being a mage is. I've come down on both sides of the heavy/light armor issue several times and ultimately choose light most often. I may like draugar/ebony/daedric but glass is ok, and I prefer glass weapons anyways.

Since I hate the dragons, and therefore in all subsequent games never talk to Balgruuf I don't have easy access to the IMO crappy looking dragon armors.

I'm really hoping they add some new armor types like they did in shivering isles. Something that leaves my face seen, perhaps some new light "ivory" to complement the heavy ebony. Or they could put mithril back in so that the trees are actually balanced.

I've played sword and shield, and found that while the shield was useful against arrows and spells I spent more time blocking than attacking and needed to literally get pressed up against a mob to hit it with a one handed weapon. I rarely seemed to be able to stagger with power attacks or bashes, and needed to wail on even weak enemies many more times than seemed appropriate for having a smithed up daedric weapon. The kills looked neat though and I could slit throats.

I prefered using an axe or mace to the sad little sword, but they got gimped as far as kill variety.

Ultimately after my 90 hour game got ruined by my accidentally finding a random nord in broken helm hollow that was some chicks husband and therefore bugging the quest to find him, and having the audacity to clear cragslane cavern after being directed there from a random event with some escaped pit wolves before going to riften I've settled on a new character.

Its an orc that uses glass armor/battle axe/dagger/bow, along with alchemy, enchanting, smithing, speak, sneak, and archery.

If it doesn't die in 1-2 hits it wishes it had.

Only recently did I actually do any faction quests. Companions sucked, but at least it was short and I never had a bug curing myself. I'm halfway through thieves and had to finally go to markarth, though I pointedly avoided talking to anyone of getting any quests other than calcelmo because as far as I know that city is still bugged as a shit wagon. I had to kill his nephew though as the stone was guarded by like 40 guards and sneaking past all of them was not an option.

Saving DB for last, and eventually to finish legion line i'll need to do some of the main quest and let dragons in to casually murder every npc in the game while wholly ignoring or deigning to fight me >_<

Better stealth, changing environments, foot prints where appropriate, and flow based water. Make this happen, make this free, and make fans for life.

1. Ebony is mirrored by glass. Both are supposedly volcanic materials.
2. The shield warrior issues seem to be on you. I play a successful light armor shield(and sword) warrior and i have not noticed the range issues you have. For fists yes but not for a one handed weapon. Also i suggest you learn up about the combat system. If you go in spazing out and swinging the sword everywhere all you will accomplish is an empty stamina bar. If you go for a defensive character then expect to bloody well play defensively. If you want to use it as a weapon than you need to be more patient and more cunning with your strategy. Also use a redguard for a shield warrior. I find adrenaline rush works wonders for the play style. Takes some time to get distance right(i learned hard on my assassin character) but you will with a little practice. No i don't mean repetition i mean observing what you did and doing better.
3. Axe, mace, and sword have a certain setup. Axe is the middle ground, sword is fastest, mace is slowest. Relate that to two handed weapons as well. Sword can be effective but you need to know how to use it. May just be talking out my ass here but i think swords have longer range as well. Negligible but might be.
4. Really? Everyone seems to berate Skyrim for not being able to break quests and this is on your list? Skyrim is impossible to break quests on. If you clear a dungeon and need to go back just wait a week/month in game(forget which) and it will restart. Usually i end up referred to a different dungeon but i seldom actually take odd jobs.
1. I know they are roughly equivalent to each other, I was more saying that there are more kinds of heavy armor than light and I wish there were more varieties. If not in actual materials, then at least be consistent with the options. Steel armor alone has several different types, some with the same name but different like with the imperial/nordic/draugar varieties or even the simple chest piece with or without shoulder parts. A few more choices wouldn't hurt. I love the look of the thieves/nightingale armor but not so much the enchants or defenses. If I could make basic leather armor in several different skins (or colors for that matter) then that would be pretty sweet.

2. The longest used character I made used a shield and mace, I loved it and it worked well. At the time I had tried and dismissed 2 handed as boring and simple. My tastes have changed, possibly through having replayed much of the game several times with various builds. Your response of more or less "lrn2play" comes off perhaps more antagonistic than you may have intended however.

3. Actually great swords and battle axes have the same swing speeds, its probably not intentional. And with the higher damage on warhammers their dps is roughly the same as the other 2 choices. I just really got to liking battle axes, and glass ones in particular for aesthetic and functionality reasons. That lil hole in the middle means I don't have as much os a blind spot on screen, plus I like the bleed effects.

Also the decap animation with BA/WA is sweet. I like the stabbyness of GS too but axes have more oomph.

4. I don't really know what the bulk of this is trying to say, but in my case the fix for the latter quest was to go away wait 30 days, kill the ONE BANDIT THAT RESPAWNS, go away another 30 days repeat 4 times and MAYBE the quest to clear out the skooma den would proceed. The other one where I have to report leifnars death to his wife cannot be fixed if you find him before talking to her at the mill. Much like if you take a book called The Wild Elves from a chest you can never give it to the guy in the collage that send you after it.

As far as markarth, I saw and used the valves, and even the cute lil spider control wand. They didn't run away scared, they got cut up and set on fire or electrocuted, and then more guards came in etc. After unnecessarily stealthing the goldenglow estate job I was at that time ready to say fuck it and murder the lot of them and not spend any more time in Markarth than I had to anyways.

One thing that bugged me from the very start was that we cannot make our own arrows, and shops even at high level and specifically at archery shops would often not stock any good ones. Typically I could be carrying around 700 orcish arrows but end up with only 30 glass and maybe 12 daedric from a centurion drop. Not a big issue but the fire/ice/WATER arrows in the OT video are a nice idea.

I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

Seriously, They could have put all these into the game initially... If not, they really should note these into DLCs, or even better Free Updates! I don't mind spending more money for these things though. But seriously yes, monstrous monsters for the next series please! and SPEARS! and Dragon mounts!!

heck, just give me EVERYTHING :D

I miss having spears. A lot of weapon types got cut after Morrowind, and this removed the possibility of having my favorite artifact, The Spear of Bitter Mercy. Mounted combat should've been in the game to begin with (to apology for not having it in Oblivion), as not having it makes using a horse tedious and unnecessarily frustrating. Something I'd like ***** about that wasn't in this video was a lack of acknowledging that Skyrim doesn't have enough deadra. Atronachs and dremora are nice, but I want clannfears, hungers, ogrim, scamps, and other beasties too.
