This is my review as a customer.
Don't even bother.
Not only are their prices ridiculous ($60+ for clothing, bags) but their service is TERRIBLE.
There is no actual customer service center. If you have an issue, you can send an email (that takes up 48 hours to be responded to, or more if they just dont feel like it) or you can call the phone line.
But, unlike most stores, this phoneline will never connect you to a person. while the website lists hours of operation, these are not times you can get a human being on the phone. These are the times people will call you BACK.
That's right, to get customer service, you call and place a voicemail. This voicemail, like the email, may or may not get a response withing 48 hours. I waited for 3 (week) days for a response to one. and of course, this window that would make a cable company grimace means you will never get the call. you will just happen to be away, or your phone wont be on, or whatever, and then they will leave a voicemail. this completes the ticket. They have not at this point been able to ask you what is wrong, but according to them, you have been helped and satisfied.
I ordered a piece of artwork and another item. After two weeks, half of my order shipped. Not understanding, I placed my first inquiry, where i was informed that, had i taken the time to investigate the shipping information, all artwork is shipped separately due to some issue with packaging (apparently there normal warehouse is not capable of putting a poster in a tube. sorta strikes me as an issue that needs fixing, but they've instead opted to take your item and sort them at the home office to mail them). Alright, maybe I ought have looked at this page first, but this is the ONLY store i've encountered with this issue.
so lets recap, it's been two weeks since i placed my order, and only one item has shipped after this embarrassingly long "processing" time.
one month later, i have made several calls to inquire about my poster. A operator (i finally managed to catch them calling me back) informed me that no, more than a month was NOT the standard time to wait for artwork, the stupid packaging system or not. She apologized and offered me a free upgrade to priority shipping, which I happily accepted, because I am reasonable.
When my order finally shipped a week later, the ticket had me down for the standard shipping i originally paid for. The operator flat-out LIED to me, and every message i have sent about it has been ignored, except for one (follwing the third attempt) that said "we will not give you any form of compensation because your oder was delivered on time and without issue"
It is completely unacceptable and I can tell you, despite my rabid and well-publicized love for Bethesda IP, i will not be purchasing any more of their crappy merchandise, and I advise you to avoid it as well.
On a related not, I never purchased the Dishonored hoodie, but a friend from college has. It popped every seam the first time he washed it.
