Betrayed by the ending

Have you ever played a game for a long hard time, fighting against all odds to win a difficult game, only to get a totally bullshit ending? I finished playing Thing-Thing 4 yesturday online to see that you get 0wn3d in the end.

So, has this happened to anyone else? Tell your stories

The bad end is alright, since it makes sense.
But the "good" end isn't explained. It took me forever before I realized what had happened.
Plus, the "good" end is also a somewhat of a bad end.

I'd say that both endings in GTA4 were pretty sucky personally...

As annoyingly short as CoD4 was I found it to actually be a really well designed and rather cinematic (I look at CoD4 as a action movie made into a game), although the suddenness of the ending did annoy me quite considerably.

And considering the amount of love and hype that Peter Molyneux puts into Fable 2, I found the ending of Fable 2 to be total utter crap...

Yea GoW 2, played it through with a friend. We didnt realize that was the "end" until the credits started rolling, which was followed by a "oh what the fuck was that?" from both of us.

Thank god they're fixing it in DLC, but yes, the ending felt anticlimactic and frustrating. You save humanity and ensure it's continued existence, but it's still so weak.
