Bfbc2 vs MW2

I have noticed that most people who play COD are convinced that it is the best, but most who actually play both games agree that BFBC2 is better. I just want to test this. So answer the poll, be truthful, etc.

I played MW2 and enjoyed it up until I bought BF:BC2. Since, I can say without a doubt that BF:BC2 is the better game. However, I still enjoy playing Black Ops every now and then for the small, faster-paced matches.

Played both, don't really like Battlefield. Looks like I prefer more fast paced, twitched based shooters.

Bad Company 2 is better if you ask me, I played both and I prefer BC2 for multiplayer. But I love Rainbow 6 Vegas the most for single player.

I don't think it's a case of "better". I think it's a case of different.

If all you're after is some fairly repetitive, whizz-bang-shooty, where you can park your brain in neutral and jump around like a squirrel on crack, then MW2 is the game for you.

If you're looking for (no promises that you'll find though) teamwork, more complex gameplay, bigger maps, and less of the stupid squirrel-BS, then you'll prefer BFBC2.

Enjoyed MW2 a lot, but it lost its charm way too fast for me. BFBC2 is something I still play regularly. Seems I prefer the slow(er) paced shooters.

Bad Company 2 is much better, damn fine game.

Unfortunately people often don't play it how they're supposed to. Whats the point of a team focused game if everyone is dumb?

Bad company for 2 reasons.

1. HELICOPTERS.
2. Twitch based shooters would be cool if I had the god of all internet connections. Otherwise, it turns to who has the better connection when it comes to gun fights.

Battlefield by far as teamwork is actually an important aspect of the game unlike MW2 where "team" deathmatch is just free-for-all but there are 5 people who you can't kill. I also like that fact that Bad Company 2 has a visible front-line unlike MW2 where the game just spawns you anywhere regardless of what team you're on.

I haven't played BFBC2, but i sure want to...wish there was a multiplayer demo of some sorts...
I've played a lot of MW2, sometimes it's fun, but sometimes it makes me very, very angry. Haven't seen any other games do that so fast...

Depends what you want out of your shooter. In general MW2 is close range battles (not to say you won't run into a few in BFBC2, but BFBC2 is more tactical ranged and vehical based, (contolling them anyway).

I don't prefer one to the other, depends on the mood and how much time I have but I have logged more time playing MW2.

Bad Company 2's single player is utter shit, while MW2's singleplayer is absolutely epic.

MW2's multiplayer is fun, but unbalanced. BC2's on the other hand is intense and engaging.

Just for lols I thought I'd comment even though versus threads are a bit taboo, but Bad Company 2, for several reasons.

1. Teamwork is needed and a lot of fun if done right.
3. Co-op onslaught mode is pretty good.
4. Vietnam just got released which is awesome.
5. and vein as it sounds it looks prettier, in terms that war games are.

I liked BC:BF2. I liked the way the weapons felt, I liked the range that guns got, I thought the vehichles were well done. In MW2 I get annoyed when I point a gun at a person 25 ft away and they don't die.

Let me list the things I like about BC2 over MW2.

1. Focus of action
2. Coherent teams
3. Realistic ballistics (None of that insta-hit, hit-scan bollocks of MW2)
4. Cool vehicles
5. The Sounds, oh god, the sounds! The guns actually sound like REAL GUNS and not some nakkety-nak, muffled, plastic toys and the explosions are simply orgasmic.
6. No bloody, bouncing throwing knives

That's my oppinion voiced.
