tact is for people who dont wanna piss of other people

look i could easily proove that all christians are bat shit crazy, but that would however spark an argument, that would never end and turn this thread into something it wasnt meant to be

plus i really cbf having scripture passages thrown at me
Tact is for people that actually want to find work. Tact is for people who have to deal with individuals on a day to day basis. Tact is for people who aren't hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and have an ounce of compassion for someone other then themselves in this world. (do not confuse tact with PC) Anyway, I see that constructive debate is lost on you. Good day sir and I hope that you don't have to go through too many trials to learn life's lessons.

(I know, lots of scripture references, huh?)
your amazing

i would have a cunstructive debate, but ive had these way to many times with christains over the internet, they never achieve anything

so why bother?

First of all, this was never a "christianity" debate. This was me giving you a little smidgen of advice that you shouldn't lump all christians (or any group) together. I myself believe that this show is nuts and by no means would I subject my own two boys to watching it. I find it incredibly naive and asanine of you to even think of myself in the same context as the creaters of this show.

I never tried to convert you, nor did I even try to quote one scripture at you. All I did was try to teach you that sometimes tact is the higher road and that you can save yourself quite a bit of grief if you in fact practice it. You would never have even had this conversation if you had just said, "yeah, those christians." Instead you turn this into an attack on all christians in general. If that's your opinion, you're entitled to that, but by no means will I stand by and let you defame myself or many of the individuals who I know who would feel the same as me.

Your apathy will gain you absolutely nothing in this world. Your lack of compassion for even another's thoughts or feelings will gain you nothing in this world. In fact it will impede you in many ways. In many cases, age begets wisdom, the ability to effectively apply knowledge. I know many have the mentality that they're a fount of knowledge, but it means little to nothing if you don't have the wisdom to apply said knowledge. Learning to take constructive criticism, especially when made in a slightly humorous and joking way to lighten the mood, will take you far in whatever you choose to accomplish in this life. That is not a christian doctrine, that is simply a fact of life.

As I said before, I hope you don't have to go through too many trials to learn life's lessons, and I'm trying to impart some small bit of wisdom that I've picked up over my years on this earth. You can do with it what you will.

It seems this off topic forum has sparked a somewhat unusual series of even more off topic discussions
"do what you will, but harm none..."
...That is the motto I follow. No I'm not Atheist I'm Pagen, and loving every day of it. If you dont know what pagenism is just google it and ignore all of the devil worshiping crap you'll get a overall feel of it that is at least semi-accurate... How bout this for a conversation starter? (by nature that last statement will be the last thing said in this forum... or will it?)
