I'm hoping that its more for the storyline that you are a big daddy. Like its been said already you are the prototype. I'll guess that you'll find out about the prototypes past (as a human), the development process & the like. Personally I'm well psyched over this game.ShredHead said:This isn't just to you, its to everyone who thinks that its a gimmick,SoonerMatt said:Well that depends, will I be in a rockabilly band and get the obligatory Gretsch hollow-body? Seriously, though, I think it's a unique idea and if done right it can deliver. I also am afraid that the gimmick would wear off quicker than you'd think.
How is it gimmick? Its an fps, you can't see the rest of your character, so you might as well be Jack for all the difference it makes.
It will certainly be different. But I think unless they balance it well, having the drill, the ability to dual-wield plasmids and weapons and being bigger than everybody will just remove the challenge. Also, water is no longer a problem, so...it could be good, it just has to be done right.iggyus said:Does anyone think that playing as a Bid Daddy is a good idea?
There is a 9-min video on youtube/IGN/Gametrailers which serves as a demo of what is to come in Bioshock, and a intro to the big sister.Sevre90210 said:Last months PCG showed the Big Sister. Looked fun.
It's a sequel. It's set 10 years after Bioshock, and it assumes you harvested all little sisters (or all of them but one or two... anyway, the "bad" ending)Pumpkin_Eater said:Supposedly you will in Bioshock 2zeldakong64 said:Can you play as Big Daddy? Because that would be sweet. Obviously it's a cheap thrill that would wear off, but having drills for arms and chucking radioactive little girls at interfering scientists who have hands that shoot bees would be rather...delicious.
