I love movies, books, web series, video games...etc, as much as the next person. But I sometimes find myself completely missing something major, or not piecing together some sort of connection until I hear about it from someone else. I'm especially bad at noticing symbolism, and often have to see another person's analysis before I get it myself.
Let me give an example:
I don't know how I missed that in hindsight, although I remember being pretty tired at the time. But it didn't stop me from feeling stupid for not seeing something that should have been so obvious.
So, what sorts of things do you all find yourselves missing almost routinely? Symbolism like me? Subtle inferences? Or maybe a big revelation or two?

At the finale when Carolina is speaking with the Director. He calls her his greatest creation, at the time I thought he meant that she was his best Freelancer, it wasn't until I read the comments below that I saw some people had gotten from that scene plus a small video clip after the end credits that Carolina was actually the daughter of the Director and Alison.
