Located at that link...

Personally I think this is going to be the first truly "next gen" game we get- it sounds so awesome if they can pull all of the features off, and I'm really excited to play it, even though it probably won't run on my poor little PC.

Thoughts?

Kills me there's been a 45 minute gameplay demo of the game shown but we can't see it yet :(

i imagine soon...and i do like that they are making it truly "next-gen" rather than porting/gimping it for current consoles.

This game is one of the only reasons I'm buying a ps4 there was literally no other game I wanted for the next gen that wasn't already coming out on my past consoles. So I'm looking forward to this game and see if it'll be more like the books in TW2 while it had things mentioned from it there wasn't depth to subjects that I was interested in from the book but I can't really blame them for that because the game would've been several disks long if they wanted to add in all the details the books contained.

The hype machine is already in motion I see. Well, I'll just file this under the "The next greatest thing ever" column that already contains so many "next greatest things ever" that I'm about to need a new file cabinet.

Thank you so much for this link.

I can't stress this enough how much I am looking forward to this game. By far my most anticipated game of 2013 and 2014 ever since I finished Witcher 2.

Looks awesome and I can wait to see more!

Good, bad or ugly The Witcher has always been a source of inspiration when it comes to game design.

I hope it has create-a-character and if it does, I hope it's really good.
It can't have a create-a-character because this trilogy has been all about Geralt and his story adapted from the books.

We're just about done shredding the files from last year, so we've got enough room for the new batch.

OT: Looks good, but I won't be picking this up on launch.

I am looking forward to it, Witcher 1 was frustrating, Witcher 2 was fucking awesome, Witcher 3 will be EPIC. Un fortunately I will not be able to play it till July or August of 2014. I wait that long so I can play the living shit out of Dark Souls 2

It's basically a big, more inspired Skyrim to me. I think the one thing everyone points out about Skyrim is the overused VA and repetitive side missions, but I think this looks like it could take that RPG crown away for good, as Witcher 2 blew me away but didn't have enough open-ended gameplay to warrant a lot of replays or additional exploring in the way that Skyrim did.

My hopes for fixes according to the second one: A more tolerable combat system, a little less "dodge, Quen, attack, dodge" would be nice. Also, I didn't really like that there were constantly new armors and weapons in the game that did nothing but raise the damage threshold you could take and dish out, it might as well have just been a repair system, I think they fixed it in the optional overhaul update they made, but still it would be nice. Really those two things are it, though, otherwise amazing game, if the rest of the free roam was like a huge forest from the first area of W2, I would not be disappointed or sad.

This. As much as I am looking forward to the Witcher 3, I remain cautious in my hopes for it. What the article conveys sounds amazing but at the same time we must also keep in mind that CDProjektRed is a lot smaller than Bethesda is, for example. My main fear is that they overextend and bite off more than they can handle, resulting in a game that has lots of potential but that's hampered by bugs, crashes and unfinished areas and quests.
