Biggest bug in a game.

I heard of a bug in Twilight Princess where it was impossible to get into the City in the Sky.

Fortunately I BUCKED THE TREND and got the BUG-LESS GAMECUBE VERSION.

Theres been a few glitches in halo where you will just be killed, for no reason, single player alone. you will die. Other then that the mad ability of some games to save you over water or something ridiculous.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Once I was running through the city of Vivec to get a reward for a quest and the whole city disappered and I fell right into the water. Well confused as I was I was swimming back to shore when it all came back and I was then trapped in the game graphix. Kinda sucks ass really.

I ran into a bug in Fallout 3 where I attempted to sit in a chair that had a skeleton on it, I did it to see what would happen as most of the time skeletons cause weird things to happen in the game.

The result: I became stuck, I was standing, but the game thought I was sitting and prevented me from moving. After a few minutes playing around trying to get "unstuck" I was a few feet away from where I started, but still unable to really move. I had to reload from an older save to get out.

In Oblivion I had the Night mother appear whilst pondering through the woods and tell me a bunch of shit.
That confused the fuck out of me.

Soon later a bear was stuck to my face.

I have played GTA Vice City a couple times through and that mission never bugged for me, what consol did you have it for?

GTA Vice City: Saving at Cherry Poppers. It ruins the save data apparently.

You just have to erase your saves and start over from the beginning. Thankfully I heard about this before I got the game. I would've been furious if that happened to me.

GTA San Andreas could be just as annoying if you saved with the riot cheat active but I never cheat & save either.

what console did you have it for, never happened for my on the xbox version, on two different game disks.

Call of duty 5. Before a few patches ago there was a map where you could get inside a rock where people couldn't see you, you could see them, they couldn't shoot you but you could shoot them. I made a massive amount of Xp from that.

There's a bug in Fallout 3 where the physics engine gets confused, and a ragdoll starts spazzing out and flying all over the place with its limbs flying in all directions. Apparently they can kill you if they hit you.

The same bug happens in oblivion if you beat horse to death while in water. Also helps if you then back off and shoot at it with powerful spells afterward.

I will assume its a bug with the Gamebryo engine itself.

Sacred 1 had one really big bug after about 2 hrs gameplay, "use the waterbottle at the
oasis".
Only problem, there is no waterbottle, and this is the MAIN questline. you can not play anymore until this is resolved!
You had to use a "give waterbottle" command in the prompter to fix it....

Saint's row 2. play the whole game, love it, buy EVERYTHING, get to the last mission.. bug.. The last mission never shows itself. I cannot start it. I can just run around the area it is supposed to be.

I almost cried.

You have to go into a tunnel or something, near the huge building. It's totally possible dude, keep looking.

Fallout 3 on 360 for me had a bunch of bugs.

I built the rail spike launcher I think it was? Pretty much anytime I used it in VATS, the game froze and required a reboot... I stopped using it after about the 20th time... I'm a slow learner and I really liked that gun.

I also got stuck in Flak's room in Rivet City and couldn't get out. I think I followed someone in there, but not out again, and I couldn't open the door from the inside as it was locked.

And I did have a bunch of random game freezes.

Still one of the BEST. GAMES. EVER. FULL. STOP.

I was just wondering, what is the most game ruining bug you have ever experienced?

For me, it was F.E.A.R. 2 last week. It was pathetic, there is a bug which automatically closes doors you need to get through. One week later, I still can't finish the game.

Now, it's your turn.

Edit, anyone know a way around my glitch?

Oh man I had a similar glitch. The tube in level 2 spit me out on the wrong side. And there is no way to get back. So I just used the mission select. Unfortunately I was playing it on hard and it erased my veteran progress.
