Did you ever really look forword to a game but when you finally got it it wasn't what you expected. For me that happened with Fallout 3. What about you?

Fable II.

It's a really short main quest. and once your [SPOILER--------------------------------------------] Dog Dies [-----------------------------------------SPOILER] it's really impossible to do the archaeology quest and to find hidden treasures. Once you have some eleventy-billion gold, what the hell are you supposed to do with it?

Assassin's Creed
Spore
Resident Evil 4
Metal Gear Solid
Kingdom Hearts

Assassin's Creed was far too repetitive and didn't spend enough time on the actual stealth and assassination elements of the game. Spore became an RTS at the beginning of the tribal stage, and I do not like RTS'. Resident Evil 4 forced me to protect Ashley, didn't allow me to move and shoot, and a main character that I couldn't stand. Metal Gear Solid really just didn't live up to the hype and Kingdom Hearts was some type of hideous amalgam of Disney, Square, and random pre-pubescent children.

I can see where it may have been fun, but they just cocked it up for me. Leon is some highly trained police officer type of person, isn't he? He should be able to move and shoot, simple as that.

Force Unleashed! They promised awesome physics, you get that only on the first stage.

And then we can buy an apartment together and live happily for a month before we get on each others' nerves and our relationship slowly dissolves into endless screaming matches followed by you angrily staying with your mother for a week!

Now back ON topic, PoP: Warrior Within disappointed me as well. It just couldn't live up to Sands of Time, especially with the Prince and his new personality.

Rsident Evil 5, just, wow, i was so suprised by the amount that it was the same as number 4, like, exactly the same, and if you guys think the walking in res 4 was slow, try out this baby, plus, real time inventories, what are they. nuts...

I was disappointed by PoP in general.

Spore was my biggest disappointment, I mean, it had a lot to offer, till EA ripped off all of it's limbs and left it 4 dead. (desperate pun intended)
I mean, Spore is good, but just not THAT good.. Kind of a bittersweet feeling.

I think what your saying is that it's not your taste nor type, or that the small things get sort of get in your way of a gaming experience. I think their all good games. I personally didn't enjoy Assassin's Creed because it was way too short. (hope for a good sequel)

My only disappointment was Doom 3, because it was more scare tactics then having a large amount of demons to kick ass and take name type like the previous Doom games.
