Biggest? Hard to say, I've played a lot of games.

Off the top of my head, however, Final Fantasy 7.

My biggest emotional response was when

Tai Dies in Gears 2

Seriously, that got me pretty good.
Yeah I mimicked Marcus in saying NOO!
I literally put down my controller and went "I don't want to fight anymore" Then the bullets started flying and I figured that it was time to not die.
It's funny though. He was actually the only character I didn't want to die.
Also surprising he died due to one thing. He wasn't red-shirted at all other than being a new character.

Other than that I'm pretty much an emotionless jerk who giggles when my allies die if for no reason other than they are in my way when alive.

The part in Bioshock when you enter Andrew Ryan's office, I began to question whether it is fate or choice. It is safe to say it freaked me out.
This.

Zeno clash was awesome and that part where auxometer (or however you spell it) ran in to a tree made me sad.

This experience I havent shared with anyone, for it was too emotionally scarring for me. I was playing Fallout 3, following Liberty Prime with Dogmeat at my side. Dogmeat got a little over zealous and charged ahead to attack an Enclave soldier, and a stray beam from Liberty Prime blew dogmeat into a thousand little dog-bits. I had to pause the game and give myself a moment.

Playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Shadow of Chernobyl and getting the fake ending where you go blind. That just gave me such weird feeling because I was so immersed in the game and that was what I wanted to ask to the wish granter too. It felt like the game read my mind!

In Crimson Sea...
That romantic bit with Sho and Shami.

And in KOTOR II...
When Visas reveals her feelings for the (male) Jedi Exile.

I know that this doesn't exactly bring the manliness out of me, but...well...

Screw off.

on fallout 3, there's a place called the dunwich building, and as you enter deeper and deeper into the building, you find a man's holotapes and you can listen to him try to find his father, yet slowly turn into a ghoul as he goes deeper into it. finally he finds his father, who has become one of the ghouls, and he becomes one as well. that one ate at me a little bit.

I could make a joke about Devil May Cry here (you know what scene I'm talking about)but if I had to pick one video game moment that gets to me its in No More Heroes when Dr.Peace is singing if for no other reason then I like that song.

Tales of Symphonia, either when
Zelos dies

or when
everyone has their own "self-sacrifice" scene. Those really tore at me. Except Regal's. "You shall not pass." Just made me laugh.

i found it amusing. nukes can go fuck themselves. Zakhaev killing Gaz was a sin in FAR higher scales.

I couldn't think of anything at first, but now they're starting to pour out of me.

This first:

Probably when Eli Vance gets killed at the end of HL2 Ep2.
Especially when you hear her whimpering at the end, as the credits begin to roll. That got me pretty good.

Walking out of the Vault for the first time in Fallout 3 was VERY impressive to me. I just wasn't prepared for it, I guess. I loved the stark contrast in the landscape. You had been stuck in the dark, gray vault for a good hour, and then you finally get out. The sun blinds your eyes, and it's almost a happy moment, until you adjust and see how terrible everything looks. Too bad the rest of the game wasn't as impressive.

Andrew Ryan in Bioshock was chilling. I didn't even like that game, but the scene was incredibly well done. It saved it from immense fail to eh, OK in my book.

Also, in KOTOR II:

First, the Kreia/Atris exchange was incredibly well done. Especially the line "It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible is to admit it." I've played the TSLRP leak, and they totally ruined it with too much dialog. Blugh.

And Kreia talking about Revan. She says "Looking at Revan was like staring into the heart of the Force." You can ask "What do you see in me?" And she answers "When I look at you... I see the death of the Force." It was an eerie scene all around, and that line was just totally unexpected. I loved it.

I've got a few.

*KotOR II: Kreia. Just Kreia. Her end speech and her exposition on her exile are just incredible. But the best, the absolute best, is the scene at the Jedi Enclave when you're light side. That still gives me chills... Visas isn't far behind, especially when she tells you that she loves you. Kelly Hu's voice is just magnificent. It's like liquid velvet pouring into your ears.

* Shadow of the Colossus:
... If I have to explain this to you, then it's obvious you never played Shadow of the Colossus.

* Legend of Zelda OoT and MM:
See, -that- was an ending. Video games seriously need to go back to old school endings, not this 'walk off into the distance' or 'hint at a sequel' crap. Dammit, I want to feel like I just won!
