I have a few pet peeves on MP and on Xbox Live/PSN. I was wondering, what are your pet peeves online or on a console?

Mine is- When people join a party without an invite and then they start inviting their friends and so on so forth until you filled with people that you don't want to talk to.

OP - Spot on, I hate it when random weirdos join my party/gaming session. I have a friend with an extensive friends list (he friends practically everyone he plays with it seems) so I always have to remember to change my party to invite only if he shows up.

Another one of mine is people that spawn camp and think its ok, but when you do it to them they ***** about it. Seriously people need to learn about equality in games. I'm going to stop there before I rage.

People who take games way to seriously.

For example I play quite a bit of League of Legends and now they have normal games and ranked games. I only play normal games and play only for teh lulz however people will flame me for being rubbish. If people want perfection they should play against others that also want it or learn to play for fun.

Another thing is when people say stull like "lol" "wtf" "omg" on voice chat. Just say the damn words. I forgive people if the type them but it still pisses me off slightly, and pisses me off a lot if used in practicly every sentence.

Those are annoying as well, especially the people that flame about a player's skill, games are for fun, not for competition.

My biggest pet peeve is people, probably.

Competitive players trying to force me to play their way, competitive players in general, voice chat, griefers, spawn camping, imbalanced teams, lag, crashy games, trash talk over text chat, people QQing about things, things like that.

I mist 99% of it because the only game I play online these days is TF2 and I have voice chat disabled.
Now, don't quote me on this, but it could be because you disguise as an anime girl when playing as the spy. Probably not the sneakiest thing you could do.

It can work both ways. If people are trying to play for competition and someone who is a complete ass joins in and ruins it, that can be annoying.

They can be used for competions (in my opinion anyway). I'll give you an example. My uncle did the coding for Counter Strike. He was in the top 10 (at least) players in the whole world at counter strike. He was invited to play in large tournaments where the winners could earn thousands of pounds just for playing the game. If that's what being the best of the best at a game can give then bring on the competions and angry flamers. Also competions also give way to challenge which some people also look for in a game. I just think that people who play for competition and for fun should just stay separate but you know that that will never happen. Ah well. One can dream.
