THREE games worth of build up for these guys and the payoff was absolutely brilliant.

oh yeah, I was about 14 when Jak 3 came out. Naturally I fuckin' lol'd.

OT: The ending of Shadow if the Colossus. It doesn't have a very prominent story, but the twists in it are engaging.

For me it had to be the proper ending of Nier, though i know most of you probably didn't play or tolerate the game long enough to get the final ending, But any game that makes you delete all of your save files and watch as your inventory is destroyed deserves a special mention.

It blew my mind watching 40 hours of my life get deleted.

Indeed, one reason why I love that game. Well, sans the stupid adventure text portions. Yeah, they might fit, but it's still annoying...

Anyway, here's my favorite plot twist, that's actually not a twist at all if you've been paying attention:

I can't really think of any other then Bioshock or Kotor. Maybe...when you find out the blind prophet for the bandit leader in Fable: TLC is actually your sister from awhile back? I was shocked when I saw it, and I was like 11.

The plot twist in The Witcher 1 where it was revealed that

Alvin was the Grand Master, and had travelled back in time, and the little boy you tried to protect was your enemy all along

Literally blew my mind, it was only hinted at right at the end, but then you see all the little things in the game actually point to it. It was crazy.
