Biggest shock in a game

My biggest shock:

When I found out Madden 09 was the exact same as Madden 08, Madden 07, Madden 06, Madden 05, Madden 04, Madden 03, Madden 02, Madden 01, Madden 2000. Very shocking indeed.

Oh, and to be honest, people who are talking about Portal should know that I was more shocked when

The cake actually turned out NOT, I repeat NOT a fucking lie. No, it was Black Forest Gateaux and was in the basement of Aperture Science. I was also shocked that GLaDOS is actually "Still Alive" and that, I think, is shown by some eyes being around the cake.

Honestly, it's when Jack in Bioshock first injects himself with a plasmid. That's my biggest actual shock in gaming - not counting jump-out scares from various games (they don't even have to be horror games, just somewhere you don't expect to see something then you do and you jump).

Yeah man, was such an awesome concept, took me by shock!

My biggest shock apart from that would probably have to be finding out that I unlocked Gray Fox in MGS: Special Missions. Hey, I was young and he is awesome.

That is a good one. For me it was the dogs jumping through the windows in RE1. Still scares me to this day.

That was my first ever game scare.

In the new Prince of Persia; in the end when you/Prince cut down all the trees and bring Elika back and to put the Dark God to sleep once and for all. That. Was. Amazing.

I don't think it was to put the God to sleep, but rather it brought him back...

I don't really know, 'cause I haven't played the game, but I think that's what happens. No?

Well, yes that was what happened but the whole purpose of it was revealed in the new DLC.

The Prince brought her back because the God would've broken free anyway, and with Elika dead no one could stop him. So the Prince thought ahead.

Doom 3... you wander into a nondescript bathroom looking for the arbitrary hidden item stash. A quick flick around the room reveals no nasties. You approach a mirror, and suddenly...

And then the game leaves you pathetically jerking every-which-way looking for invisible terrors in a state of blind panic, in a nondescript bathroom, with only your reflection and a pair of warm pants for company... Slowly you realize that for all your machismo shotgun antics and dismissive "Can't scare me while I have my mouse hand" bravado, this game just beat you. You sissy.
