I still don't know where they plan to go with natal...

If this type of system was going to catch the public eye and draw people in, wouldn't the eye toy have been the biggest thing since the NES?

Lol.

Finally a proper interface for letting MS know what I think of them...

Gesture recognition FTW. XD

What has Nintendo and the Wii taught us? There is a *huge* market out there for those who can make things easier. Well.. with Natal hooked up and always on, suddenly your computer is a lot easier. Control it from a distance. This can be sort of done now with voice rec, but some things are easier expressed with gestures. Combine this with the heart of the Milo technology -- emotional state recognition -- and now you've got a computer that can clue in when it's not doing things properly for you, and try some other tact.

Go ahead, try to tell me that wouldn't sell.
I agree that the potential exists, but I don't for even a moment feel that MS is the company that could successfully pull such a thing off.

When they release that touchscreen table they were talking about awhile back, I think I'd have more faith that they could pull off something like this.

Just more dung for Bill Gates to fling at the customers of MS who generally believe they are a "good" company when it comes to gaming.

Let's just hope Natal won't be like the wii where they have to release an attatchment to it 3 years later to make it work like it was supposed to in the first place.

To be honest I don't care for Natal in the games department but it would bring cool things software wise and security for PC.

Besides that meh.

Natal is only the beginning. Ten years from now this technology will be perfected. It will read your hand movements perfectly and have minimal latency.

I'm hugely excited about this, because it's coming out for the PC and if it is as I hope, then anyone will be able to develop software which supports natal, which means we will see a ton of 3rd party software out for it, and it will be used to its fullest potential with thousands of coders creating stuff all over the world.
