Bionic Contact Lenses

This sounds like a great idea. Not only for a game display that wold work allot better than the Virtual Boy, I imagined soldiers in the field with a type of Ghost Recon display.

Power could possibly be done through some form of magnetic induction on a convenient device near your head. That's my thought. One concern of mine is resolution. How high can it become for things like gaming, TV, etc? What features would you guys want to see implemented in this device?

Oh dear,
I can't even begin to imagine how expensive these would be.
Contacts are not forever btw.
So I suppose this would not take off unless they can find a way to make it dirt cheap.
Which, of course, is ridiculously unlikely.

And military... They make them wear glasses don't they?
Because in an explosion the contacts melt to your eyes.
