Advance apologies for the poor grammar and spelling.
It's been over three years since Bioshock first graced the gaming world. The first one introduced a interesting approach to first person shooting by including elements of narrative, action and role playing and combining into a game that not only tells a good story but has good gameplay.
After signing up to Windows live and going through the security checkpoints I was ready to return to the underwater dystopian city, Rapture. This time set Ten years after the civil war of drug addicts with a new leader at the top, Sofia Lamb. Like before it's your job to knock her off her thrown and claim king of crazy town. You meet some interesting characters including the mad priest Father Wales.
Some things have changed since you last left, hacking is one notable change. The first Bioshock's hacking mini game was not well received by many players, for being too easy and simple. Hacking now takes on the form of a different mini game where the player has to press 'F' at the point of the marker landing on the green or blue in real time. Why this may not sound like much of an improvement it can be quite fun and as you progress the danger zones become much larger and the marker moves faster.
Another miner improvement is the camera, which allows you to record the splicers and enermies in action. This is fun to use and makes researching more interesting, you will have to find different ways of killing them to get the most out of the camera.
One more important change is you stepping into the boots of a big daddy. This means you can now harvest Adam from dead bodies with the help of a little sister. These moments are where the combat shows. Combat has been improved to include the plasmid attacks, the first one had a problem of you having to change between weapons and plasmids, which in the middle of battle can become quite flow breaking. The weapons have also been changed to fit with the character, your wrench is now your drill, your pistol is now your rivet gun and your shotgun is still your shotgun. The problem now thou is you will be getting more Adam now, with each level consisting of three little sisters to get Adam with by the time you get her to the point of either killing her or saving her you end up with over 200 Adam. This means that improving your character is no longer that hard.

The gene tonics have also been changed, instead of you having three different types of slot areas you now have one but this one has many slots to use and each gene tonic only cost about 35 Adam.
They have also included a new set of enemies, the brute splicer can tare through your defenses, the Big sister can brush off plasmid attacks and the new version of big daddies can shoot rocket launcher rounds. The problem with each thou is you can figure out when they will attack, such as the Big Sister who only appears once you got rid of all the little sisters in a area so you can easily prepare for it.

After my time playing Bioshock 2 I'm sure people who are fans will enjoy the game, new comers may also like the game. The only problem I see with this game is I wonder where they can go from here, going back to a human from a Big Daddy will be a backwards step, and all thou Rapture is still atmospheric as the last one you will fill as if you have seen it all before.
