lol I thought most of the gaming community was trying to forget about Bioshock 2 and instead hoping for Infinite?

ah I wouldn't know but it's whatever. it is sad how many really really cool looking designs don't make it in the final game (there must be a "too cool" ceiling for games...)

Since the golden Big Daddies can fly, I wouldn't doubt it if they're put in the next Bioshock game that takes place in the sky.

How about just eerie floating? That would scare the shit out of me. No the usual **Clump** **Culmp** but an almost silent glide. Golden, levitating big daddies that can move at incredible speed? Winner.
Kinda like these ?

I agree, I like the eerie silent glide.

What the fuck is this ?
If I had to guess, they derived e^(1t) to get e^(1t)dt.

C3P0.. but seriously, despite weak material, I'd love to see them if only as decoration of some sorts.

I like this shinny version of the big daddies, It's nice to see them in such good state. No brown-old looking ones.

Looks like those classic, complex, gilded boiler/ice cream machine/coffee maker-type contraptions they used to have at the McDonald's.

In short, magnificent.

I don't think that a floating daddy would fit very well into rapture, but the shiny gold suits would fit very well if the looked corroded. The suits would maybe help better the atmosphere, because rapture was once a shining, futuristic 1950's metropolis. The big daddies were almost every day encounters for the people of rapture, so why should they just have ugly diving suits?

Are you sure they're not just pictured floating in water or something? Does it actually say somewhere that they're levitating in those pics? That would just be really weird and out-of-place, even in BioShock.

EDIT: Ok, read the website linked there - I guess they are levitating. Huh.
According to my artbook, they were supposed to appear in
the part where you play as a Little Sister, as how the Little Sisters see Big Daddies
. A real shame that they never made it in.
