Eh. I doubt my compy would have been able to run it, anyway. The first one ran well enough, but still...

On one hand I want to rage, scream and curse the heavens for doing this to me. I had it marked on my calendar. On the other I do want the game to be perfect and if it needs more time to simmer so be it.

Either way this news ruined my day. Guess it is about time to rip some civilians in half to ease the pain.
This....In a way I'm glad, I don't want this game to be what KOTOR 2 was.

eeeeeeehhh. I guess i'm not too sad, i mean, i'm a BioShock fangirl, and i'm not very happy with what they're doing to i BioShock 2. I mean, hiring arcane studios? Really? Adding multiplayer was a very bad idea too. In a nutshell, i don't think that they should try to stretch out a good franchise until it breaks.

This is both good and bad i guess. I mean don't get me wrong i'm really pissed off because i have been looking foward and pratically counting the days to its release for a while now, but it does give me more time to play modern warfare 2

People are flipping out about a year's pushback. Think about Half-Life 2: that came out REALLY late, and was worth the extra time.

Why don't companies just toss out the 'release date' razzle-dazzle and just say 'when it's done' until they have a SOLID release date based on the game going gold? I swear, the accuracy rate of initial release dates is somewhere around the 10% mark. I don't even give them much credence anymore.

How can they use this to increase sales when every other game has been delayed until next year?

Ah, the joys of Prototype. (If that's what you're referring to.)

I'm happy at the news.

I mean it better live up to it's predecessor. And since I have my doubt, they should take as much time as the world gives them.

On one hand I am sad. I was so looking forward to it but on the other hand it will give me time to enjoy the other games coming out near the end of this year, not make me go for broke and also its better getting a whole game later then a broken one now.

Inital response: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

After returning from asylum: Well hopefully it means they can work out any bugs. They just best not delay the demo as well. Plus my bank account is also having a party, as is my 360 at it not having as much of a hectic autumn schedule (provided no more F3:DLC appears).

I want to return to that happy aquatic den of terror as soon as possible, but if a few more months in the studio means it will get more lovin then I'll survive, as long as ODST and MW2 come out on time to quench my bloodlust. And for gods sake I hope that the extra time is not spent making multiplayer if single is broken.

EDIT: actually might go on [Prototype] and do some spinal skateboarding. Always fun to run up the side of the empire state building then slam foot first into a civilians spine.

YAAAAY! They are actually taking the time to polish the game instead of rushing it! I have faith in this game once more!
