Would you sacrifice your sanity for some kick ass super powers? Hell, I wouldn't, but what about you?

Definitely.
Because who's going to stop me from doing what I want? Someone without superpowers?

Depends, what kind of sanity loss we talkin? Massive crippling paranoia? Hallucinations? Voices claiming to be god telling me to burn down things? Belief that I am a Pancake?

There are various forms of insanity, you need to either specify or tell us to pick one.

Sanity?
God dammit you ask me to sacrifice the one thing I don't have!
I would, but unfortunately my sanity fled me long ago.

No, because I wouldn't actually be able to do what I want with the superpowers.

Which would be: Write a better story for Bioshock 2.

I believe he's referring to the Bioshock form present in splicers. Basically, you would revert to a more "feral" mindset, wherein your impulses and desires rule your conscious mind. You'd be capable of speech and the majority of fine motor functions, but you'd basically be little more than an animal.

Edit: To answer the question: No I would not. I'm not willing to sacrifice who and what I am just to be able to shoot lightning/fire/ice/bees from my hand.

Nope not even a little, for me there would be no point in having powers if I cant be sane enough to do anything with them

Well I am close to almost complete insanity so why not. They might have to put me down though if I shoot electricity and bees out of my hands every few seconds.

So multiple forms of Insanity? Because they were quoting scripture, talking to Pistols as though they were babies, Talking to voices in their heads, walking around in a trashed storage room thinkking that it was a cozy late 1940's living room asking their non-existant wife to close the window, etc.

I dunno, it seems to limit the ability to utilize your superpowers correctly, since you have little-to-no common sense.

I would have to say no.

It takes so much less effort to save them though.

In the end, the total amount of ADAM you get is the same, but saving them does not require you to hold an incredibly nasty sea slug in your hands. And you won't have to dispose of the body.
