OK well, here whats on my mind, back in 2007 Bioshock was game of the years due in part to its great passing, story and atmosphere. All this was condensed in the single player and i loved it. But now there is some multiplayer component to Bioshock2 and I'm not sure about it. To be honest I'm more interested in Bad Company 2 multilayer. So whats do you think about BS2 think new multiplayer.

It's a risky move, but if they do it right, it could be awesome. However, my gut still says that Bioshock should have been completely about the single player.

I think it just goes to show that developers are comming under more and more pressure to make things multiplayer, even if they don't really work with it... Another good example of it is Assassin's Creed, perfectly fine as a single player game, yet Ubisoft have said that the next one will have multiplayer... dunno how they're gona pull that one off =\

One thing I've learned about gaming is that you can never tell until you try it.

A demo would have been nice.

I tend to stay away from multiplayer games, they do nothing but disappoint me.

Bioshock's single player is great, and unless the sequel's multiplayer is done well, then it'll just be another disappointment in my eyes.

I'm sure the multiplayer is going to be fairly average like all multiplayer that's kinda tacked on. It won't be bad, not saying that at all but I'd say the interest is in the actual single player experience, which is what the game should be all about.

What kills the game for me entirely is the DRM so NOW I honestly couldn't care less about Bioshock 2. The game automatically loses all points of interest when they limit installs, and 15 installs maybe a new record for an install limit, but it doesn't change that it's still meant to hurt the people actually buying the game. It was a game that I wanted till I read that little bit on a few sites. Now? I just, don't, care.

It seems like quake+bioshock, from what I know. It could be interesting. I don't have online multiplayer, so I don't really care.

I think Bioshock 2 is gonna be all around great

and I for one have high hopes for the multiplayer...

...of course my hopes usually get crushed whenever I get them up for anything...

I'm trying to not be interested, because I feel like there is a very small chance that it could be done well and I don't want my heart broken again.

I don't think the developers are going to forget the single player experience. It's BIOSHOCK, the game that relies on the lonely atmosphere.

I got my eye on the multiplayer. I don't like the idea, personally, but for some reason I think that it'll turn out okay. Nothing great or revolutionary but something that's worth five minutes to kill.
