Alright guys, Bioshock 1 and 2 are on sale on steam for 5 and 12 dollars respectively. If you haven't bought them yet, get out of that rock you live under and buy them! I'm also looking for two people with whom my friend and I can buy a four-pack with, for less money.

Let me know. BUT REMEMBER FOLKS, THIS OFFER IS FOR ONE DAY ONLY.
Enjoy, would you kindly?

Bioshock 2 is 5 bucks too. just sayin. Also, I was tempted, but I just can't see myself enjoying Bioshock. Shooters blah.

BioShock is probably worth for the half-way decent story and the setting... BioShock 2, not so much.

Both are 5 dollars.

A friend of mine accidentally bought the Bioshock 2 4 pack. Long story short, he gifted me one of the extra copies, and I bought the original Bioshock for myself. I'm not sure whether I should be happy that I just got two awesome games, or annoyed at myself for adding to my already enormous backlog...

Didn't really like the first Bioshock,
but I did recently purchase the sequel for the 360 a few days ago.

So no need for me to re-buy it on Steam :p

Buy Bioshock 2
-75%
$49.99
$12.49 USD

I'm from Australia so it might be different, but that up there is directly cut and paste from Steam itself. I know some places reported it as both 5 bucks, but they're both 75 percent off.

I bought it back when it first came out for 60$.

Do I regret it? Not really. Maybe a little. It was pretty good, overall.

And the sales continue the rest of the week, so check back on Steam! God I love Steam.

You should be very, very happy. They're awesome games, play them ASAP.

I know, I've actually been planning on getting them both at the earliest decent sale. Still, I have a backlog that is well over 20 games right now, just counting the ones I haven't played at all. If I count the ones that I booted once or twice after installing, and then did nothing with, we're looking at a much higher number. If we count the ones that I didn't finish due to ADD, but still feel like I got my money's worth, we're into the hundreds.

Well, that was rantier than I planned. I'd like to add to this thread that there is a drawing connected to this sale; every day, there's a drawing in which three people win the entire 2K games back catalog. There's a link explaining how to enter on the main store page for Steam.

Ahhh.... So anyone in America want to get some Australians cheap copies of Bioshock 2? Please?
Poor Australians T_T (this is not me trying to sound like a dick, this is me feeling bad for Australians because of all they have to put up with regarding gaming).

Thats a fairly decent price. I figure that will be the same benchmark for it come christmas time.

1 is worth infinitely more than 2 in my estimation. Honestly with as rushed and lower quality it was I really dont think 5$ should be a sale price for it.

I hate Steam, it's so damn hard to download stuff from it and it's a resource hog.

Besides, I already own both for the 360.

Still, for those who can stomach Steam and got a decent PC - enjoy.

Actually, you may want to hold onto your Steam Wallets with such a decision. Recently, folks were getting their accounts locked down by the VAC protection and possibly banned due to purchasing a gift for a friend that lives in another region. Needless to say, this happened to quite a few people from my knowledge.

Orly? Their entire account? Huh. Ok. I bought L4D2 from my American friend to get the unrated version, and that didn't happen to me, but that was a while ago. Well, thanks for the heads up.

Anyone NOT spending a mere $5 on Bioshock is wasting $5 on ANYTHING else.

OT: Bioshock 2 is good fun for what it is... still a worthy purchase.

Hey, remember that time when Fallout 3 complete with all the expansions was selling on steam for the same price as 2 expansion packs on xbox 360? Ah, good times, pissed off my xbox friend no end. Why do I bring this up? No reason, im just sayin yknow? :)
