although bioschock 2 is more entertaining than the first game in my opinion, i keep getting the nagging feeling that i've done this all before. sure, you are a big daddy this time around, there's new enemies and you explore new areas of rapture, but it feels like alot of deja vu. but i guess it makes sense that you might experience deja vu because it's not like you're in a new underwater city or anything. you're still in rapture, so it would only make sense that you would see similar splicers and similar big daddies. there are a few new enemies in the game now, and that's okay because that would also make sense that 10 years after the first game, some things are BOUND to change, but i still like the game overall.

Shock Horror game sequel builds on success of predessor by being similar.

Where's the complaint here? 2 has better gameplay, new levels and a new story. Just because it hasn't reinvented itself doesn't mean it's a rehash.

The game is OK if you didn't play the first one, like i did.For me its a new experience and i enjoy it but if you already completed the first one..its worth renting atleast.

I know what you mean but, to me, it wasn't the game play or the scenery but the emotional tug that was lacking.

what is the discussion here?
forgot to mention this, but i wanted to know how other people feel about the game
ok i enjoy the game alot. i think it is very similar to the original but changes just enough to feel different and overall better. also the multiplayer is entertaining but i dont see a long lasting appeal in that aspect.
