BioShock and System Shock 2

About 2 years ago i got this AMAZING game called System Shock 2. I had no idea it was so great i just picked it up randomly and was blown off completely. That game still has no competition!!! Anyway when I heard that they are making a "spiritual sequel" to it I was excited. This was BioShock, of course. BioShock is a great game and the only game I actually got legitimately. But somehow when I compare BioShock to its predecessor I am dissapointed. Despite being a great game, somehow it doesnt come anywhere near System Shock 2. It's not so scary, RPG system isnt as detailed and no inventory system... What are your thoughts about this?

Is Bioshock as good as System Shock 2? No. Is it a good game when judged by its own merits? yes.

(It's story is nothing to scoff at either)

It really depends what kind of game you're after, are you after an FPSRPG like System Shock 2 with the full inventory, cyber mods and other random crap or are you after an FPS with a slight RPG theme......or none, like Bioshock. I'm a fan of RPGs and FPS, so I like SS2 more, but BioShock was a good game too.
