Bioshock audio diary glitch

Yeah, I know it's an old game, but bear with me.

I've recently encountered what appears to be a glitch - although it could be user error - but I don't know what to do. The audio diaries I've collected just keep playing over and over and over in the background, and I can't find how to stop them. Anyone else know what this is?

Have you tried turning the game off, then on again? This may seem like silly useless advice, but in my own experience it usually fixes any glitches I have in most games (and I know glitches, this method is how I fixed stuff in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Assassin's Creed Revelations and 3). Failing that, try getting in touch with 2K Games and their customer support team, they might be able to help
