They didn't specify how they'd be picking the winner. I guess it's not going to be a draw. I wonder if the artists just get to go through the entries and pick out names that they like?

...But what happens when the game sucks? "I got my name immortalized in this piece of shit!" That'll be good :)
Hmmm, well given the theme of the game I hope I get to be a pro-American militant, maybe one who isn't totally evil. :)

Of course my inner cynicism has me thinking that perhaps they will be coming up with a system to dynamically generate named NPCs, and the contest is a way to rapidly assemble a list for the program to use. Everyone who enters will get a notification that they have been immortalized in the game, and buy it just to see the NPC named after them. Hundreds of thousands or millions of guaranteed sales from immortality seeking nerds.... doubtlessly untrue, but a business scheme worthy of Andrew Ryan himself. :)

My first name is significant in the Christian religion, another name for Israel, and my middle name sounds like derilict (take off the "ict") My last name is also the name of a city in Alaska (Fairbanks). It doesn't help when I actually DO live in Alaska, and no I don't live in Fairbanks.

I have a friend who doesn't need to enter this competition, as his name is actually Andrew Ryan.

I guess they probably won't pick him.
and now I want to know his reaction to the first game.
Mine was disbelief, followed by insane laughter. He had a similar reaction when I showed him the intro.

I read through the whole Legal bit and was a bit scared to enter. I don't like big legal texts that I may not fully comprehend.

I entered in the off chance they feature a Filipino-American guy in Columbia. Could be part of the supposed 'foreign hordes' those jingoistic xenophobes fear!
