With the full E3 gameplay trailer (and more) being released tomorrow for Bioshock: Infinite I'm just curious as to how everyone feels regarding the game.

Are you excited? Are you un-interested? Is there somthing about what's been revealed so far that stands out to you?

I can't wait for that game! I'm kind of upset that they revealed it so early and made me wait so long.

I'm kind of meh about Bioshock, but I'm at the very least curious about what they do with this one.

Aye, but it seems to me a bit like Bioshock only in the name (and personall I like for new installments in a series to do something like that...as long as they can afford to take the risk).

I can easily sum up my feelings toward Bioshock Infinite in two words:

Fuck yes.

Everything I have seen so far suggests they're taking the things that made Bioshock awesome and throwing it into a (mostly) new setting with completely new story and characters.

I mean, come on, it's set on a flying steampunk-ish city intended as a symbol of American exceptionalism. And it has a giant gasmasked bird golem who has a Stockholm-syndrome-ish relationship with one of the main characters. How often does one get to say those things about any game, let alone a shooter?

Also, those skyline things look like good fun. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XYPgH_HFCU]

The one feature I'm not so enthusiastic about is that 'tears' business [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/trailers/3596-Bioshock-Infinite-Windows-Into-Other-Worlds-Trailer]. (That's 'tear' as in present tense of 'torn', not the thing that comes out of your eyes when you cry.) It doesn't look bad exactly, just kind of gimmicky. They basically just letting as choose which of several items to spawn. Although the trailers strongly suggest that it will be part of the story, so I guess there's still hope.

So yeah, lookin' damn good overall.

I am pretty excited for the game. It looks amazing and the game-play looks pretty fun. The story sounds pretty interesting as well. I hope I get the ability to choose sides in the game. I already have it pre-ordered.

Looks great to me. Not quite Bioshock-ish, but rather, something even bigger

I have hopes we are going back to the Bioshock 1 way of writing and not just sticking shit together and calling it a game

Dont forget to stick on a MP to show you didnt really care about the story (Bioshock 2)

I was really excited for Mass Effect 3 until E3, now it seems the only game to be truly optimistic about anymore is Bioshock Infinite. Kevin has the skills to pull this off, I just hope that the delivery lives up to the hype, or at the very least we get a game as good as the first one without a truncated ending.

Bioshock 2 was made by a different developer under the same publisher.

Infinite is being made by the people who made the original.

Obviously that isn't a complete guarantee against potential suckage, but I'm chalking it up under the 'good signs' column.

I'm tentatively looking forward to Bioshock: Infinite, but really only because there's not enough games that allow me to tear my enemies to bits with a murder of crows...

I'm sure it will be good but thankfully with Witcher 2, Deus Ex human Revolution and Batman Arkham City my mind can focus more on the games coming out this year. )

Not so much excited as much as my interest is piqued a bit. I didn't like Bioshock at all. The atmosphere is actually what drove me away from it so I never touched the sequel. Infinite, on the other hand, looks very different to me, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

After being disappointed on how Bioshock 2 didn't really do anything interesting with it's setting (imo) i'm very excited about Bioshock Infinte.

While i think the floating city of Columbia is a bit too rediculous (not because it's a floating city, but because it's a bunch of buildings and floating "islands" on baloons connected by rollercoaster-ish railways), but everything else i like so far, like the interaction between the PC and the Main NPC (Elisabeth) and the whole civil war thing.

I've put myself in a complete media blackout for this game. I came to the original Bioshock knowingnothing other then what the Demo gave me and as such was one of the best gaming experiences I've recently had. As such I'm doing exactly the same and I'm going to go into this with no expectations or hype to see what happens. Hopefully it will be good.
