Yup, those who don't know, they are coming out with a movie for one of the best video games of ALL TIME. It's coming out Summer of 2011, I believe. Can't wait to see how they portray the big daddies!

This is quite a strange first post...
Most of us did know, but they're currently having financial problems. Hopefully they can get over them and make the BioShock movie true to the game and not ruin it... apparently it should coincide with the release of BioShock 3.

I hope they do it in a first person view the whole movie (obviouslly jack has to talk to make him more interesting then a wet carrot) but just not show him at all that would ruin everything... DONT SHOW JACK !!! URGHH

It's being made by the Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo that did 28 weeks later.
And 28 weeks later was awesome, better than the first.
From what I've seen in his films he's got what it takes.

I really hope it isn't Jack they focus on, i mean WYK? everyone will be looking out for that now, its hardily a surprise plot twist when everyone now knows about it.

They'll make it worse than the first one but better than the second and the collectors edition will be a working Big Daddy and a Little Sister kit that actually lets you transform children into little sisters!Quiet Stranger said:

I didn't hate the second one, in fact I had a lot of fun with it. I just found it significantly worse than the first one. It seemed like the only things they upgraded were the weapons and the fact that you could dual wield which was pretty cool but everything else was bland and predictable compared to the first one. I mean, there's even a part in the first one where when you get the shotgun all the lights turn off and a bunch of splicers come after you. The same exact thing happens in the second one! I guess they didn't change enough. The first BioShock was a refreshing and creative game with an absolutely fantastic story that really brought me into the world of philosophy but now that I've already beaten the first one a game exactly like it just seems bland. Not that it wasn't a great game, it was just that it can't even compare to the first one.Quiet Stranger said:
