Yeah, what's with that?
I've only been on the Bioware forums a couple of times, but I've recently noticed a lot of people with signature tags reading "I used to be a part of the community. Now I'm just X" Is it some kind of in-joke I'm missing or something?
Basically BioWare started a countdown a while back, and a lot of forum-goers got very excited, there was much speculation, etc. etc. etc. When asked a few times whether it was a countdown to some new-game info BioWare employees said (paraphrased) 'It is not new-game info, no, it is an Epic Community Event, to thank all our loyal fans'. People were excited (I wasn't, I didn't give that much of a toss).
Anyway, the countdown finishes and wahey! BioWare's Community Bazaar! Only, er... more than half the community are excluded (specifically the entire world except the USA, not including Florida and NY, which are also excluded). Nice one BioWare, way to thank your 'community'. So a lot of people were very excited, only to be told once the countdown had reached zero that it was nothing to do with them and they could go to Hell as far as BioWare were concerned.
Not to mention the fact that the whole Bazaar is nothing more than a way for BioWare to get their fans to advertise - almost free - for them. Great community event, eh?
