Birds=$$$?

I noticed the other day that another app has passed Angry Birds as the #1 selling app on the App Store. The name of the game, Tiny Wings another bird related game that has sold big. I know that the fact that birds are in the games does not mean that that is why they sold. I would like to know your opinion of the two games and why you think they have sold so well.

They are both mainstream games that virtually anyone can pick up and play and have a decent enough time.

Cause people here something good its good. Angry birds is a good game for what it is. So if you have something thats like it, but not exactly the same, it will sell well.

Tiny Wings - never heard of it, let alone played it.

Angry Birds - greatly overexaggerated. It was fun at first when the levels were easy, but after that it got annoyingly frustrating, attempting a level thirty times.

I was less than 1/4 of the way through when I realized I wasn't enjoying it, so I deleted it.

They sell well because they're so popular, and many people like protable games on their phones.

Tiny Wings hasn't hit Android Marketplace so I can't comment on it. However I agree with TheYellowCellphone on Angry Birds. It's great for a while but it gets frustrating.

These games are great for bathroom time... that's all I can think of!

That was a good one I actually got some laughs out with that one.

Angry Birds is a good time. You will not regret buying it.

I do, it is fun but sometimes the levels are so hard it makes me regret buying it. But when I beat the level I forgive it.
