So it's my Birthday today =3

Got an Ipod touch, (Finally!) some T-shirts, and something i have wanted for ages!

A Lava Lamp! It's so awesome! XD So far it hasn't quite got it's awesome Goopy Bubble things, but it's getting their.

This led me to think, what's the most awesome thing you got for your B-day? Recent, or years ago, or even in the future if you know what your getting.

As for the best thing I've ever had for my birthday, I'd say the laptop I'm writing this on. My parents got it me for my 18th birthday for me to take to university. Of course, two and a bit years later it is starting to show it's age and I should probably start saving for a new one, but even so, definitely the best present I've ever had .

In my case, it was the wife agreeing to let me go to Vegas for a weekend with the boys this year. She felt guilty b/c we didn't do anything for my B-Day last year.

5 days and counting and I'm away from the hellish snow.

I'm very fortunate in that my friends and family know me so well, that I tend to really hit the jackpot every year with awesome presents.

One that stands out though is when my best friend gave me a big green gift bag when I was 15/16. Inside were loads of tiny little gifts, including a load of individually wrapped pots of different coffees (we were insane for exotic coffees). I was opening it in registration at high school, which made the continual unwrapping even more entertaining.

OT: My favourite thing I got for my birthday one time was a star necklace from an old boyfriend - only problem is I can't wear it because it reminds me of him. I kept it so when everything is more in the past I can wear it cos I like it

My best birthday present? Hmm...Though one but i think the one when i was a child and got a shitload of Lego was the most awesome one ever. I loved Lego as a kid, could spend hours just building stuff.

uhhh best present i got was a tour of the old highbury stadium where the football/soccer team Arsenal were based. item wise it was probably an N64 when i was really young. I loved and still love that console so much.

Don't have more to contribute past that, though. I've had people remember that it's my birthday... twice so far, I think, so I tend to forget about it myself these days. Have yet to receive any present or a "happy birthday".
