It's my 19th Birthday today- wooo!
I bought myself some headphones that wont fall out of my ears due to clippy things and Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires.

My question is have you ever used your birthday money to buy something on a whim that you then regretted because you
a) realised you didn't need it
b) found out it was crap
c) thought it was worth way less than what you paid for it

I bought a DS 2 years ago that I played the week following my birthday then never played again.
Other terrible purchases include various items of clothing, chip and pin monopoly (the small money makes the game dammit!), and lots of crap from gadget shops like thinking putty, a neon light thing etc.

Many moons ago, on the eve of my 14th birthday, I had but a single wish; a copy of the movie Daredevil on DVD. I grew up with Daredevil comic books. He was my favorite super hero. Because the film never came to our city's theater, I didn't get to see the movie during it's original theatrical release, hence the birthday wish. I was avoiding reviews of the film, to spare myself any spoilers.

It was a poor choice. Let's just leave it at that.

Yes I have. Every damn year.

They say wisdom comes with age but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Edit Hey! That rhymed!
